Role Overview
Full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi for an Appointed Person for Lifting Operations.
Plan and supervise lifting activities while ensuring compliance with local and international standards and company procedures.
Role Responsibilities
- Prepare lifting plans, assess risks, select equipment, and coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and site supervisors.
- Verify pre-use inspections and certifications and monitor site conditions during lifting operations.
- Communicate safe work instructions, resolve operational issues, and maintain lifting documentation and reports.
- Support incident prevention, participate in HSE meetings, and improve lifting practices.
Qualifications
- Hold LEEA APLO certification.
- Have 3 to 5 years of lifting operations experience in construction, oil and gas, infrastructure, or manufacturing.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of lifting regulations, HSE standards, and safe systems of work.
- Interpret technical drawings, lift plans, and equipment specifications.
- ADNOC approval is preferred.
