Job Summary
HSE Officer role supporting a construction team in Dubai.
Requires UAE construction or interior fit-out experience and experience with a main contractor or subcontractor.
The role focuses on implementing HSE standards in compliance with UAE regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and prepare reports.
- Monitor PPE use and safe work practices.
- Manage Permit to Work controls for high-risk activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, occupational health and safety, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of HSE experience in UAE construction.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate and IOSH certification are mandatory.
- OSHA certification is an added advantage.
- Experience with high-rise, residential, commercial, or villa construction projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
- UAE driving license is required.
Salary
- Salary is AED 8,000–9,000 per month based on experience and qualifications.
Location
- Work location is Al Barsha, Dubai.
