HSE Manager

Purpose of the Job

HSE Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local legislation, OSHA, ISO standards, and other relevant regulations.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and safety drills to verify adherence to HSE protocols.
• Identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, and develop control measures.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and recommend corrective actions.
• Design and deliver HSE training and promote a strong safety culture.
• Develop emergency response plans for fire drills, first aid, evacuation, and crisis management.
• Lead emergencies and coordinate with internal teams and external authorities.
• Evaluate safety performance and recommend improvements.
• Report accidents, incidents, and workplace hazards to senior management.

Security Responsibilities

• Oversee security protocols protecting employees, assets, and premises.
• Manage access control, CCTV, and alarm systems and ensure they are operational and regularly tested.

Experience and Education

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, industrial hygiene, or a related field.
• CSP, CIH, or an equivalent professional certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of HSE experience, preferably in a managerial capacity.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and implementing safety programs.
• Background in regulatory compliance and incident investigation.
• Experience developing and delivering HSE training programs.
