About the Role
An HSE Manager is needed for an oil & gas project in Abu Dhabi to lead HSE programs, ensure compliance, and manage contractor HSE performance. Requires 20+ years of experience, NEBOSH, and ADNOC experience preferred.

- Ensure HSSE goals, objectives and targets are met through personal leadership and involvement.
- Safe delivery and handover of the Project to the Owner, sustainably, safely, on time, within budget, ensuring that a quality product is produced.
- To provide HSE management leadership and support at program level for Owner’s Project activities.
- To provide written HSE program via procedures and plans on Owner’s behalf for EPC / FEED Contractor direction and guidance.
- To monitor and track overall project HSSEQ performance and communicate trends and achievements.
- Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviors and engagement activities.
- Able to lead a team of HSE professionals such as Lead HSE Engineers, Sr.HSE officers, HSE officers etc.
- Sound understanding of the HSE Management System and HSE legislative requirements.
- Broad knowledge and experience in risk assessments and audit processes.
- Able to develop and implement annual HSE plans.
Requirements
- 4yrs bachelor’s/ engineering degree
- NEBOSH GC/IGC
- Diploma in Safety /HSE
- Lead auditor ISO 14001 or OHSAS 18001 or equivalent
- Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including at least 5 years in the GCC region
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position on international Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects
- Experience in PMC roles
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Offshore projects & EPC Experience is must
- ADNOC experience is preferrable

Qualifications And Experience
- 4yrs bachelor’s/ engineering degree.

- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent, obtained from an accredited university.
- Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including at least 5 years of experience in the GCC region.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position on international Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
- Experience in PMC roles.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Offshore projects & EPC Experience is must.
- ADNOC experience is preferrable.

Principal Accountabilities

- Able to lead a team of HSE professionals such as Lead HSE Engineers, Sr.HSE officers. HSE officers etc.
- Sound understanding of the HSE Management System and HSE legislative requirements.
- Broad knowledge and experience in risk assessments and audit processes.
- Able to develop and implement annual HSE plans.
- Competency in PTW system and gas testing.
- Awareness in H2S and Breathing apparatus.
- Ability to analyze incidents and apply root cause analysis techniques.
- Ability to develop Emergency response procedures/plans.
- Ability to speak, read and write English with good communication skills.
- Efficient in interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills.
- Identifying, evaluating, and resolving HSE issues during the EPC phase of the works.
