Role Overview
The HSE Engineer is responsible for workplace hazard assessment, safety-policy implementation, regulatory compliance, and incident investigation.
The role includes regular site inspections and audits to improve health, safety, and environmental practices.
Health, Safety, and Environment Duties
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential workplace hazards.
- Implement proactive strategies to mitigate identified hazards.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for project and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor HSE compliance through regular site inspections and audits.
- Provide actionable feedback to improve safety practices.
- Lead incident investigations and determine root causes.
- Document findings and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Requirements
- Experience conducting workplace risk assessments and identifying potential hazards.
- Ability to develop and implement safety policies and procedures aligned with project and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to monitor HSE compliance through site inspections and audits.
- Ability to lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
