- Develop and maintain HSE policies, standards, and procedures in compliance with regulations
- Conduct regular on site risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure mitigation
- Organize and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and implement corrective actions
- Lead and manage the HSE team, providing direction, support, and performance management
- Monitor HSE performance through KPIs and prepare regular reports for senior management
- Collaborate with on site teams and other departments to integrate HSE best practices
- Stay up to date with changes in legislation, technology, and industry practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8 10 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in large scale infrastructure & construction
- At least 5 years of experience in UAE
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, CPD, HSI, or equivalent highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices
- Proven track record in implementing HSE policies and managing teams
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in HSE software, Microsoft Office Suite, and related tools

Job Overview
- The HSE Engineer is responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and fostering a culture of safety within the organization.
- This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, and programs to prevent workplace accidents and environmental incidents.
- The HSE Engineer will primarily work on site, directly overseeing safety practices and ensuring compliance across operational areas.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain HSE policies, standards, and procedures in compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
- Ensure that safety policies are communicated, understood, and adhered to across all levels of the organization.
- Conduct regular on site risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure proper mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
- Manage and monitor environmental impact assessments and sustainability initiatives.
- Organize and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors to promote safety awareness.
- Foster a culture of safety, responsibility, and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, ensuring that root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented.
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain comprehensive records of incidents and compliance activities.
- Lead and manage the HSE team, providing direction, support, and performance management.
- Collaborate with on site teams and other departments to integrate HSE best practices into daily operations.
- Monitor HSE performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, CPD, HSI, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 8 10 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in large scale Infrastructure & construction domain.
- At least 5 Years of experience in UAE (Mandatory).
- Proven track record in implementing HSE policies and managing teams.
