- Develop, communicate, and oversee Parsons’ Environment Safety Health and Risk Program (ESHARP) Management at all project locations
- Provide assistance to business unit managers regarding health and safety regulations, reporting requirements, safety training, and other related issues
- Monitor the effectiveness of health and safety programs, conduct investigations, and comply with internal reporting and recordkeeping requirements
- Lead or oversee investigations of serious incidents, near misses, and non compliances; ensure robust root cause analysis and corrective action planning
- Coach, mentor, and manage project HSE Managers and other safety professionals across locations
- Support integration of HSE considerations into project planning, design reviews, constructability reviews, and risk assessments
- Collect and maintain safety information and statistics for all business units and operations
- Ensure senior management is informed of significant internal and external developments regarding health and safety
- Assist business development personnel with development and support of proposal data
- Train all levels of the organization in key company safety training programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health or closely related field (or equivalent experience)
- 12+ years of related work experience in the field of safety and health
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- Supervisory experience with managing safety professionals on multiple project locations
- Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of domestic and international safety standards

Overview
- Parsons is looking for a talented HSE Director to support our Dubai business.
- In this role you would provide senior professional oversight, technical guidance, training and support to one or more Global Business Units and project based HSE Managers.
- The HSE Director would receive assignments in terms of broad objectives from the Corporate Vice President of SH&E.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develops, communicates, and oversees Parsons’ Environment Safety Health and Risk Program (ESHARP) Management at all project locations.
- Provides assistance to business unit managers regarding health and safety regulations, reporting requirements, safety training, and other related issues.
- Monitors the effectiveness of health and safety programs, conducts investigations, and complies internal reporting and recordkeeping requirements and workers compensation claim procedures.
- Lead or oversee investigations of serious incidents, near misses, and non compliances; ensure robust root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action planning, and organizational learning across projects.
- Coach, mentor, and manage project HSE Managers and other safety professionals across locations; fostering a collaborative, high performing HSE community of practice.
- Support the integration of HSE considerations into project planning, design reviews, constructability reviews, and risk assessments to reduce risk at source.
- Collects and maintains safety information and statistics for all business units and operations.
- Ensure senior management is informed of significant internal and external developments regarding health and safety.
- Assists business development personnel as required with the development and support of proposal data.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health or closely related field (or equivalent experience).
