HSE Advisor

Certificate/Diploma and/or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

A Professional certifications such as CRSP, NCSO, or equivalent are considered an asset.

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a HSE role, on a project of similar scope and complexity.

Experience implementing and maintaining HSE management systems while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Must have previous construction experience.

Proven ability to conduct thorough incident investigations, including root cause analysis and development of corrective actions.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.

Strong knowledge of applicable HSE provincial legislation and legislation for relating to transportation.

Proficiency in MS Office (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint etc.), with the ability to create reports, presentations, and data analysis tools.

A self-starter/solution-focused individual with excellent communication, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.

Flexible schedule (including rotation, weekends, and unsociable hours), ability to travel with preference of supporting a remote location project, and travel as required by the project.

Valid driver’s license and travel to regional offices and project sites is required.
