HRIS Analyst (Contract role)

What This Position Is All About: Reporting to the Sr Analyst, HRIS and working closely with the HR technology team, the HRIS Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the HR Teams in using our HRIS systems correctly and assists them in resolving any problems they may have.

With a passion for helping others the candidate must be an effective communicator with excellent system skills and the ability to hone in on a problem to resolve it quickly.

You also have:

• 2 - 3 years of overall HRIS or IT Support experience with a proven track record of assisting resolution to regular problems
• Experience with Workday
• Functional contributor to system enhancements and changes
• Solid understanding of organizational management and ability to relate employee moves and changes to corresponding positions within the org structure.
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication, collaboration and time management skills

As an Analyst, you will:

• Provide first tire operational support for our HR System (Workday) and processes.
• Responsible for monitoring and responding to queries through the Jira ticketing system in a timely manner.
• Investigate and troubleshoot system related questions and issues from the HR Team and other end users.
• Work with the IT team to resolve any escalated issues.
• Assist with creating ad hoc reports to meet business requirements.
• Assist with the testing process by carrying out tests, identifying problems and analyzing downstream impacts.
• Support the Sr Analyst, HRIS on any functional enhancement requests as needed
• Maintain system processes and requirements within configuration workbooks
• Review and assist with updating HRIS with EIB loads, such as salary changes, job changes, allocation, etc.
• Participate in internal data governance audit reviews; identify and share requested improvements and ensure system users follow best practice approach
• Assist with internal and external audit requests
• Has a high degree of understanding and adherence of the confidentiality of information
• Maturity to be able to organize themselves to complete critical tasks first and rank less critical tasks correctly

• Diploma or degree in IT or HR.
• Advanced Excel, SQL and a basic understanding of database systems.
• Any Workday certification would be an added advantage.
