  • Norfolk - hybrid working available with travel to sites and offices as required Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

As a HR Business Partner, you'll work closely with the Kier Transportation management team, providing innovative and customer-focused people solutions. You'll play a key role in driving the people plan that supports our business strategy, whilst embedding Kier's wider people vision. This is an opportunity to make a real impact, partnering with operational leaders and bringing your HR expertise to help deliver strategic goals. What will you be responsible for?

As a HR Business Partner, you'll be working within the Kier Transportation team, supporting them in delivering their business strategy through effective people practices. Your day to day will include:

Partnering with operational leaders as a trusted advisor, bringing people expertise and developing solutions to support business delivery

Managing employee relations activities and ensuring legally compliant, transparent people practices

Using data and metrics to inform change, drive decision-making and resolve complex people challenges

Collaborating with managers and resourcing teams to develop hiring strategies and continuously improve recruitment outcomes

Championing equality, diversity and inclusion, whilst supporting emerging talent programmes and promoting wellbeing across the business

What are we looking for?

This role of HR Business Partner is great for you if:

You're degree qualified (or qualified by experience) with proven experience of HR business partnering in medium or large organisations

You have strong employee relations skills and up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation

You're an excellent communicator who can build influential relationships with senior stakeholders

You have a collaborative working style, strong commercial awareness and a pragmatic, delivery-focused approach

You're passionate about driving change, championing diversity and inclusion, and supporting people to reach their full potential
