Senior Quantity Surveyor

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Lune Gorge team, supporting them in delivering commercial success across projects. Your day to day will include:

Ensuring compliance with procurement strategies, including managing subcontract inquiries and tender reviews

Managing valuations, project cashflows, and preparing monthly cost reports with progress tracking

Providing legal and contractual guidance on orders, changes, and subcontractor administration

Driving commercial initiatives and producing margin improvement plans to maximize opportunities

Leading and supporting junior staff, ensuring deadlines and commercial tasks are met

This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is ideal for someone who:

Holds a degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline

Has proven experience in a commercial or quantity surveying role within a contractor environment, ideally across major infrastructure, highways, or civil engineering projects

Brings strong knowledge of a range of contract forms, including NEC and other standard construction contracts

Holds a full UK driving licence and is comfortable travelling to project sites when required

Thrives in a collaborative team environment, building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project delivery teams to achieve commercial success
