Job Family Definition

  • Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams.
  • Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions.
  • As trusted advisor create and maintain effective customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Performs varied tasks in inventory control; shipping, receiving, storing and distributing materials.
  • Follows detailed documentation to gather data and run transactions in IT systems.
  • Develops understanding of site functional processes (e.g., inventory control, shipping and receiving, cycle counts).
  • Learn and become proficient on Supply Chain tools: Konnect, SFDC, SharePoint, SmartStore.
  • Manage the Parts and Logistics of a large scale Support operation and manage supply chain tasks/reports.
  • Log cases and follow up till resolution and act as point of contact for consolidated cases management.
  • Participates as part of a team and maintains good relationships with team members and customers.

Education And Experience Required

  • 3 years of technical experience in supply chain and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area; without a degree, 5 7 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Willing to learn new HPC and Storage technology and boost skills to own major hardware support issues till resolution.

Knowledge And Skills

  • Has sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be individually responsible for implementation of a specific deliverable.
  • Parts Management and Service desk case ownership to closure.
  • Build and provide reports on Parts/Availability/Trends and associated cases in HPC and Customer System.
  • Able to contribute to the design for deliverables.
  • Has ability to perform/drive resolution of problems on individual products.
  • Able to communicate broad and specific concepts with team and to peers.
  • Able to produce documentation for use by team and customer.
