Position Overview
Housekeeping Supervisor position for a luxury brand resort in Sharjah, UAE.
The role oversees daily housekeeping operations, staff supervision, work inspection, and operational efficiency.
The position requires white-glove, discreet, and detail-driven service for high-net-worth individuals.
Location and Relocation
- The role is based in Sharjah, UAE.
- The client will assist with a work visa and relocation for candidates who are not local.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or degree in hotel management or a related field.
- 5–7 years of hospitality industry experience.
- At least 3 years in a similar supervisory housekeeping role within luxury hotels or resorts.
- Strong English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
- Experience in structured luxury service hierarchies.
- Familiarity with VVIP guest expectations, confidentiality, and five-star-plus presentation standards.
Housekeeping Operations
- Establish and implement housekeeping standards and procedures.
- Assign daily tasks and inspect work to ensure cleanliness standards across all areas.
- Conduct orientation and ongoing training on procedures and equipment use.
- Monitor stock levels and issue cleaning supplies and equipment to staff.
- Request and manage materials for various locations.
Administration and Team Leadership
- Maintain records of work assignments, staffing, and related documentation.
- Prepare periodic operational reports for management.
- Schedule shifts and arrange replacements for staff absences.
- Motivate and support team members and resolve day-to-day operational issues.
- Recommend improvements to service quality and operational efficiency.
Quality and Compliance
- Oversee daily snagging and ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Maintain high presentation standards in a high-pressure, high-standard environment.
Compensation
- Salary is AED 19,500 per month, tax free in the UAE.
