Position Summary

Housekeeping Operations

• Run sold room reports, verify room status, identify discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update departing-room status.
• Coordinate housekeeping, engineering, front office, and laundry efforts.
• Document and resolve discrepant-room issues with the front desk.
• Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments.
• Communicate issues to the next shift and complete required paperwork.

Team Support and Guest Service

• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and respond to concerns.
• Develop positive working relationships and communicate clearly and professionally.

Workplace and Physical Requirements

• The position is full time and not remotely located.
• Follow safety and security policies, report maintenance problems and incidents, and complete safety training and certifications.
• Push and pull loaded housekeeping carts and related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
• Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across an entire work shift.
• Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance and heavier objects with assistance.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• At least 1 year of related work experience is listed as a preferred qualification.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience is listed as a preferred qualification.
• No license or certification is required.
