Based at the Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai within the Housekeeping Department in Dubai, the Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, maintenance, guest satisfaction, and luxury service standards through effective leadership, training, and supervision of the housekeeping team. Housekeeping Supervisor reports to the Housekeeping Manager.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:

Inspect, approve, and release guest rooms for arrivals, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and attention to detail.

Conduct regular quality inspections of guest rooms and public areas, maintaining consistent adherence to Mandarin Oriental service standards.

Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including room status management, maintenance coordination, and ensuring room readiness at all times.

Monitor inventory levels and pantry supplies to support efficient operations and optimal resource utilization.

Lead, coach, train, and evaluate the housekeeping team, fostering high performance, compliance with SOPs, and ongoing professional development.

Deliver exceptional guest experiences by anticipating needs, managing guest preferences, resolving concerns effectively, and ensuring overall satisfaction.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, we expect from you:

Senior School qualification or equivalent required; a degree or diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or Business Management is preferred.

Minimum 3 years' housekeeping experience in a luxury 5-star hotel, including at least 1 year in a supervisory position; pre-opening and Middle East experience are advantageous.

Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning chemicals, equipment, and inventory management processes.

Proficient in Actabl/Alice, HMS, IBS, Microsoft Office, Workday, and other housekeeping management systems.

Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; additional language skills, particularly Arabic, are an advantage.

Demonstrates strong leadership, attention to detail, organizational skills, professionalism, flexibility, and the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team while adapting to operational needs.
