Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team, including room attendants, laundry attendants, and public area cleaners.
  • Train and mentor new team members to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure they meet high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as guest services and maintenance, to address any guest concerns or maintenance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with scheduling and assigning duties to housekeeping team members, taking into account guest occupancy levels and special requests.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to promote a positive and productive work environment.
  • Participate in regular meetings with management to discuss housekeeping operations and make recommendations for improvements.
