Role Overview
Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for its Housekeeping department.
The role oversees daily housekeeping operations and ensures cleanliness, maintenance, guest satisfaction, and luxury service standards through leadership, training, and supervision.
The Housekeeping Supervisor reports to the Housekeeping Manager.
Housekeeping Operations
- Inspect, approve, and release guest rooms for arrivals while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and attention to detail.
- Conduct regular quality inspections of guest rooms and public areas against Mandarin Oriental service standards.
- Manage room status, coordinate maintenance, and ensure room readiness.
- Monitor inventory levels and pantry supplies.
Team and Guest Service
- Lead, coach, train, and evaluate the housekeeping team while promoting high performance and compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Anticipate guest needs, manage preferences, resolve concerns, and support overall guest satisfaction.
- Motivate and manage a diverse team while adapting to operational needs.
