About the Job

Bartender Duties

• Explain the outlet concept and food and beverage offerings, including drink characteristics, to guests.
• Prepare cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks, spirits, beers, and wines, with garnishes meeting standards.
• Handle customer complaints and report them to managers.
• Set up the bar counter, prepare ingredients and equipment, and check inventory.
• Clean and sanitize bar areas, perform deep cleaning, and date-label products.
• Assist with new drinks and cocktails for promotions and menus, and operate the point of sale system.
• Support servers with other required duties under manager and supervisor guidance.

Candidate Requirements

• High School qualification or equivalent is required; a hospitality, hotel, or business degree or Higher National Diploma is preferred.
• At least 3 years of bartending experience in a high-end bar and at least 2 years in a luxury hotel or resort are required.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office, are required.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills are required; Arabic or other languages are preferred.
• Knowledge of bar service procedures, spirits, and cigars is required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills are expected.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
