Role Overview
The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's corporate strategies and brand standards.
The role is accountable for meeting employee, guest, and owner expectations.
Housekeeping Operations
- Manage cleanliness across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house non-kitchen areas.
- Oversee laundry and dry-cleaning operations covering hotel linen, uniforms, and guest laundry.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in hospitality management, hotel management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressive housekeeping experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, and hygiene standards.
- Experience managing large teams in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, inventory, linen, uniforms, and cleaning supplies effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle guest concerns and resolve issues professionally.
