Role Overview
Manage the efficient running of the housekeeping department in line with Hyatt International corporate strategies and brand standards.
Oversee hotel cleanliness and housekeeping services while meeting employee, guest, and owner expectations.
Responsibilities
- Manage cleanliness across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house non-kitchen areas.
- Oversee laundry and dry-cleaning operations for hotel linen, uniforms, and guest laundry.
- Manage housekeeping functions in accordance with hotel standards and operational expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in hospitality management, hotel management, or a related field.
- Three to five years of progressive housekeeping experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
- Experience managing large teams in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, and hygiene standards.
- Ability to manage budgets, inventory, linen, uniforms, and cleaning supplies effectively.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, team development, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to handle guest concerns and resolve issues professionally.
