About the Role
Four Points by Sheraton is seeking a full-time Housekeeper for public areas in Mecca. You will clean restrooms, floors, glass, and furniture, empty trash, and respond to guest requests.

- Clean public and employee restrooms and showers
- Clean glass in public and employee areas
- Clean floor surfaces using designated chemicals, supplies, and equipment
- Dust surfaces in assigned area
- Empty trash containers, ashtrays, and ash urns
- Inspect furniture for damage and report
- Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
- Identify and report maintenance issues
Requirements
- No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
- No related work experience required
- Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance
- Ability to push and pull work related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces
- Ability to reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods

Position Summary
- Clean public and employee restrooms and showers.
- Clean glass in public and employee areas.
- Clean floor surfaces in public or employee space using designated chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
- Dust surfaces in assigned area.
- Empty trash containers, ashtrays, and ash urns in public areas into proper containers.
- Inspect condition of furniture for tears, rips, and stains and report damages.
- Clean and maintain lights.
- Post caution signs to limit traffic when necessary.
- Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs.
- Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
- Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.

- Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: No related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
- License or Certification: None
