About the Role
The Ritz-Carlton is looking for a Hotel Cleanliness Expert (Housekeeping Coordinator) to coordinate housekeeping activities, liaise with other departments, and ensure guest rooms are clean and ready.

Responsibilities
- Run sold room reports, verify room status, and determine discrepant rooms
- Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities
- Act as a liaison to coordinate efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry
- Prepare and distribute room assignments to Housekeeping staff
- Record, monitor, and update list of 'Do Not Disturb' rooms
- Ensure vacant dirty rooms are cleaned by necessary time and assign rush rooms
- Complete required Housekeeping paperwork
- Follow company safety and security policies and procedures
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds

Position Summary
- Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms.
- Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities.
- Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
- Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
- Prepare and distribute room assignments to Housekeeping staff.
- Record, monitor, and update list of 'Do Not Disturb' rooms.
- Ensure that vacant dirty rooms are cleaned by the necessary time and assign rush rooms and rooms previously on the 'Do Not Disturb' list.
- Complete required Housekeeping paperwork.
Preferred Qualification
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
- License or Certification: None
