Job Purpose

What You'll Be Doing

• Welcome every guest with a genuine smile, warm greeting and Paramount-style hospitality.
• Create a positive first and lasting impression for every guest entering the restaurant.
• Manage the host/hostess stand, reservation book and daily seating arrangements.
• Prepare the restaurant for opening and ensure the outlet is ready for showtime.
• Inspect the dining area, tables, menus and guest-facing areas to ensure everything meets our standards.
• Ensure every guest receives attentive, personalised and high-quality service.
• Handle walk-in guests, waiting guests and reservations with confidence and professionalism.
• Explain buffet arrangements and provide guests with any assistance they may need.
• Answer telephone calls professionally, manage reservations and provide information about the restaurant and hotel services.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond flexibly to special requests.
• Bid farewell to every guest warmly and invite them to return.
• Maintain a clean, organised and immaculate hostess stand throughout the shift.
