- Greet and seat guests according to restaurant standards
- Manage reservations via Open Table and maintain booking sheets
- Answer incoming calls using correct telephone etiquette
- Provide up to date information on the restaurant, menus, and hotel offerings
- Assist in maximizing table occupancy and filtering clientele
- Handle cashiering duties and balance cash/credit card charges
- Ensure regular guests are recognized and greeted accordingly
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene

Your Role
- Ensure to deliver the brand promise and always provide exceptional guest service.
- Greet guests and seat guests accordingly.
- Inform the team of special attention guests / SAGs.
- Establish rapport with guests maintaining good guest relationships.
- Answer all incoming calls using the correct telephone etiquette.
- Provide up to date and accurate information on the restaurant, menus, and the hotel offerings.
- Assist in maximising table occupancy and filtering the clientele.
- Monitor and trace all confirmations by phone or email.
- Perform the function of cashier and responsible for Micros cashiering procedure.
- Balance cash and credit card charges and remittance of cash to back office safe.
- Check the bookings on Open Table and print a booking sheet for the briefing.
- Efficiently manage guests' arrivals and departures by keeping booking system updated.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hostess or guest service role in a luxury hotel or restaurant is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage reservations and use booking systems.
- Professional appearance and hygiene standards.
