- Maintain a clean and organized hostess stand with menus
- Present menus to guests and ensure satisfaction with assigned table

Job Description
- Answer telephone calls within three rings using proper salutations and professional telephone etiquette.
- Record, confirm, and manage restaurant reservations and cancellations in accordance with departmental standards.
- Communicate reservation and cancellation changes to management promptly.
- Greet guests warmly at the restaurant entrance and seat them according to the floor plan.
- Review the reservation book, pre assign designated tables, and follow up on special guest requests.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked hostess stand with menus and check folders.
- Present menus to guests and ensure they are satisfied with their assigned table.
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times and address concerns with empathy.
- Demonstrate knowledge of restaurant services, amenities, and activities.
- Monitor assignments to ensure compliance with departmental standards.
- Multitask effectively during peak service periods.
Qualifications
- Cooperate and comply with OSH instructions and safe working procedures.
- Take reasonable care for health and safety of self and others.
- Report near misses, hazards, unsafe conditions or acts.
- Use appropriate PPE and safety systems.
- Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures.
- Attend OSH training as required.
