Job Description
- Prepare table plans, menus, promotions, and dining areas for service.
- Ensure menus, equipment, and surfaces are clean and ready for operation.
- Set up Micros for each meal period and check daily emails and serVeme reservations.
- Welcome guests enthusiastically as the first point of contact.
- Prepare table plans from reservation sheets and check large-party reservations.
- Monitor guests, table turnover, and service changes while communicating with staff and kitchen.
- Take orders, provide information, and communicate guest requests to colleagues.
- Record guest preferences in guest history records.
- Communicate dietary requirements, allergies, and special requests to the kitchen.
- Handle service challenges and changes during operations.
- Prepare drinks, snacks, bread, or other orders when necessary.
- Perform cleaning tasks, attend meetings, check package forecasts, and encourage repeat visits.
Desired Skills and Expertise
- Outgoing personality and relevant hostess experience are specified in the source.
- Experience receiving and seating guests and communicating with service and kitchen teams.
- Previous customer service experience is required.
- Ability to maintain excellent customer service for all guests.
- Flexibility to respond to different work situations.
- Excellent reading, written, and oral proficiency in English.
- The role also values personal character in addition to practical abilities.
