With general direction, leads and develops transportation-related engineering designs of moderate to high complexity for highway, roadway, and other infrastructure projects to meet client requirements.
This role offers the opportunity to support a wide variety of transportation design projects across the country while serving as a technical leader in drainage, hydraulics, hydrology, and stormwater management.

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Transportation, or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
Professional engineering (PE) license. 10 years of related experience.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

in a minimum of five (5) projects completed within the past ten (10) years demonstrating a range of experience with hydraulic design/analysis.
Two of the listed projects may have hydraulic reports reviewed by EGLE for compliance with the State of Michigan’s floodplain regulations (Part 31 of P.A. 451 of 1994, as amended).
working on MDOT and local agency project teams.
Working knowledge of submission requirements for MDOT projects.
in task management leading design staff from preliminary design through final design.
Expert knowledge of Hydraulic, Hydrology, and Stormwater analysis and design practices.
Knowledge of computer assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices.
