- Prepare materials and goods for delivery or shipping by packaging and labelling
- Move all outgoing materials and goods to the delivery area
- Ensure materials and goods are properly secured in delivery vehicles
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials and goods
- Utilize warehouse lift equipment to load and unload materials and goods
- Organize warehouse materials and goods on shelves and racks
- Perform duties to maintain warehouse cleanliness (sweeping, mopping, dusting)
- Responsible for materials and goods loading and unloading
Requirements

- Proven experience working as a warehouse helper
- Sound knowledge of standard warehouse practices

Position Overview
- We are looking to hire a hard working and dependable warehouse / stores helper to process all incoming and outgoing goods and materials.
Job Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials and goods and verifying that they are undamaged and of sound quality.
- Weigh and count received items.
- Assist warehouse staff in retrieving specified materials and goods from storage as per the delivery or shipping orders.
- Prepare materials and goods for delivery or shipping by packaging and labelling.
- Move all outgoing materials and goods to the delivery area.
- Ensure that all materials and goods are properly secured in the delivery vehicles.
