Overview
- Responsible for diagnostics, maintenance, and major overhauls of diesel engines and heavy equipment to ensure maximum reliability during shutdown operations.
- Perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and major overhauls on:
- Diesel engines
- Transmissions
- Hydraulic systems
- Brakes and drivetrains
- Handle heavy equipment, trucks, and industrial machinery
- Lead and guide junior mechanics on site
- Respond to field service and emergency breakdown calls
- Ensure equipment readiness and availability during shutdown
- Maintain technical documentation, service reports, and logs
- Follow safety standards, PTW systems, and site compliance
