Overview
The Material Coordinator will manage, control, and coordinate all materials required for shutdown and turnaround activities, ensuring timely availability, accurate documentation, and full safety compliance while coordinating with site teams and the client.
Adhere to Safety & Quality policies and procedures
Maintain material control sheets and report to the Material Controller
Verify blind lists and collect blinds from client warehouse
Coordinate with execution teams for Hydro Test Blinds
Issue blinds before de-commissioning activities
Record and register all project and free-issue materials
Inspect materials used during shutdown execution
Coordinate between client, execution, and inspection teams
Generate NCRs when required
Receive and record excess materials
Request additional or missing materials as needed
Perform duties assigned by the supervisor
Diploma / Engineering Certificate or equivalent
Minimum 5 years experience as Material Coordinator
Oil & Gas / Petrochemical shutdown experience preferred
Strong knowledge of shutdown & industrial materials
Proficient in MS Office, SAP, Tally, ERP
Excellent coordination, communication & reporting skills
Strong problem-solving abilities
