Role Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain air conditioning systems at customer sites.
- Repair or replace compressors, refrigerant lines, motors, electrical parts, thermostats, and control panels.
- Perform cleaning, refrigerant recharging, filter replacement, and other routine maintenance.
- Advise customers on basic system care and travel between customer sites for service work.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience maintaining, installing, and repairing conventional air conditioning systems.
- Demonstrated ability to independently diagnose compressor problems, refrigerant leaks, electrical faults, and control issues.
- Knowledge of refrigerant handling, electrical safety, and relevant safety protocols.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Candidates must be fully qualified and ready to work immediately because basic HVAC training is not provided.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, climb, lift heavy units, and work under time pressure.
Technical Skills
- Experience with central, split, ducted, and VRF/VRV air conditioning systems is required.
- Experience with multiple system types or brands is preferred.
- Ownership of personal basic hand tools is preferred, while specialized equipment is provided by the company.
Work Conditions
- Ability to travel between customer sites and respond to emergency or on-call work when required.
