Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and standards across projects and facilities
- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits
- Perform incident investigations
- Ensure compliance with local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Prepare HSE reports and documentation
- Support permit to work systems
- Coordinate with operations teams to integrate safety measures into project planning and execution
- Deliver training and awareness programs
- Promote a strong safety culture
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve HSE performance
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Safety Engineering
- Demonstrated experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) management
- Capability to design and deliver effective Training programs on HSE policies
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably HSE, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical) or related technical discipline
- Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001/14001) are highly beneficial
- Experience in the energy, power generation, or industrial sectors
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both in writing and verbally
- Ability to work on site in Abu Dhabi
