Role Responsibilities
- Define the engineering vision, architecture, and delivery roadmap for the new platform.
- Transform manual and legacy business processes into scalable, intuitive internal digital products.
- Lead technical decisions across architecture, code quality, engineering standards, and platform reliability.
- Partner with Product, Design, Data, and business stakeholders to deliver product outcomes.
- Build and scale a dedicated engineering organization, initially leveraging existing capability.
- Establish the engineering function and build a high-performing team over time.
- Support demand planning, supplier management, product buying, stock allocation, and merchandising decisions.
Candidate Profile
- The role requires a hands-on product-engineering leader who can set engineering direction and build a team.
- Candidates should be comfortable solving complex commercial and operational problems through technology with Product teams.
- Possible backgrounds include e-commerce, marketplaces, fintech, travel-tech, or another high-growth product organization.
