Role Overview

The Head of Retention & Lifecycle Marketing will own the full customer lifecycle strategy at Blue Guardian.

This role is responsible for improving customer retention, increasing trader lifetime value (LTV), building reactivation systems, optimizing onboarding journeys, and developing scalable lifecycle marketing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute retention and lifecycle marketing strategy
  • Build onboarding, activation, reactivation, and loyalty systems for traders
  • Increase repeat purchases and improve customer lifetime value (LTV)
  • Reduce customer churn and improve trader engagement
  • Build and optimize automated lifecycle flows across email, SMS, push notifications, and CRM systems
  • Create segmentation systems based on customer behavior, trading performance, and lifecycle stage
  • Develop automated campaigns for failed challenges, inactive users, funded traders, repeat buyers, and high-value customers
  • Map and improve the entire trader journey from signup to long-term retention
  • Build loyalty systems, gamification strategies, and customer engagement initiatives
  • Track retention KPIs and lifecycle performance metrics
  • Work closely with marketing, content, affiliate, customer success, and product teams

Requirements

  • 4+ years in retention marketing, lifecycle marketing, CRM, or customer engagement roles
  • Experience with HubSpot, Klaviyo, Customer.io, ActiveCampaign, or similar platforms
  • Experience in fintech, prop trading, SaaS, crypto, iGaming, or performance-driven digital businesses preferred
  • Strong understanding of customer psychology and behavioral marketing
  • Experience building scalable lifecycle and retention systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of segmentation, funnels, and customer journey optimization
  • Data-driven mindset with commercial awareness
