Role Overview
- Executive leadership role overseeing Finance function across Mashreq’s Wholesale Banking businesses (CIBG, IBG, FI) which contribute to more than half of the Bank’s total revenue.
- Role provides financial advice to GCFO and business leaders, develops management information, enhances governance, drives strategic alignment, and optimizes operational efficiency.
- Incumbent serves as key member of GCFO’s management team and CIBG/IBG management teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide financial advice to GCFO and business leaders.
- Develop relevant and insightful Management Information.
- Enhance financial governance and drive strategic alignment.
- Optimize operational efficiency across Wholesale Banking platform.
- Implement fully digital processes and leverage AI for efficiency and insights.
- Develop financial strategy for scaling BAU and innovation investments.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policies.
- Lead strategic projects such as core banking replacement, market expansion, and other ad hoc priorities.
Qualifications
- Executive leadership experience in finance within wholesale banking or similar.
- Experience managing a team of finance professionals across multiple countries.
- Expertise in financial governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
