About the Role
A reputed international logistics company is seeking a hands-on Head of Finance for its Dubai operations. The role involves overseeing financial management, strategy, compliance, and business partnering.

Responsibilities
- Manage the entire Accounting (IFRS Compliant), Reporting
- Oversee Cash Flow handling and Treasury management
- Establishment of valid controls to safeguard the business
- Responsible for leading the Budgeting and Forecasting exercise
- Partnering with Operations Teams to optimise costs and operations
- Provide analysis for capex and similar investment decisions
- Lead the entire compliance function including UAE Taxations VAT, Corporate Tax etc.
- Coordination and appropriate closure of Internal and External Audits
- Ensure strong business partnering including delivery of incisive and accurate presentations, data, analysis to Business allowing for data based decision making
- Management of stakeholders such as banks or financial institutions, Govt. Authorities
Requirements
- CA qualification is a must
- Operational and hands on background of operational Finance in the Logistics Industry is a pre requisite
- 7 to 12 years of relevant experience
- Should be based in UAE or willing to relocate to Dubai

Role Description
- The Head of Finance will be responsible for the entire Business Partnering, Operational Finance, Taxation, Accounting and Compliance for the division and will report to the Executive Leadership with dotted line to Group Finance
Oversee all Financial Management and Control of the division
- Manage the entire Accounting (IFRS Compliant), Reporting,
- Oversee Cash Flow handling and Treasury management
- Establishment of valid controls to safeguard the business
Strategy and Financial Planning
- Responsible for leading the Budgeting and Forecasting exercise
- Partnering with Operations Teams to optimise costs and operations
