- Develop and implement strategy for compliance solutions team across MENA region
- Identify emerging compliance trends, regulatory shifts, and market opportunities
- Build strategic partnerships with regulators, industry bodies, and key market stakeholders
- Support country head and regional managing director with prospects and deal negotiations
- Work with global product teams to localise offerings for MENA regulatory frameworks
- Maintain relationships with regulators (e.g., DFSA, ADGM, VARA) and ensure compliance solutions align with local regulations
- Lead and develop a high performing regional compliance team
- Oversee regional operations, resource planning, and budget management
- Build strong relationships with key clients and oversee delivery of compliance advisory and technology implementations
Requirements
- At least 15 years of experience in a manager role incorporating compliance functions
- Strong educational background, preferably in a relevant field
- Strong selling skills to lead business development initiatives
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi task and work in a pressurized environment
- Capacity to problem solve and deal with complex issues
- Proactive and willing to drive things forward

Role Overview
- Role: Regional Head – Compliance Solutions [MENA Region]
- Employment Type: Full time
- The Regional Head of Compliance Solutions will be responsible for leading, expanding, and managing the compliance and regulatory services portfolio across Middle East & North Africa markets
- Requires strong regulatory background, deep understanding of compliance frameworks (AML/CFT, KYC, CRS/FATCA, ESG, corporate governance), and proven leadership in managing regional teams and cross border client engagements
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic leadership and regional growth: Develop and implement strategy for compliance solutions team across MENA region
- Identify emerging compliance trends, regulatory shifts, and market opportunities
- Build strategic partnerships with regulators, industry bodies, and key market stakeholders
- Commercial Growth: Support country head and regional managing director with prospects and deal negotiations
- Product leadership: Work with global product teams to localise offerings for MENA regulatory frameworks
- Provide insights for product enhancements and roadmap prioritisation
- Regulatory & Industry Engagement: Maintain relationships with regulators (e.g., DFSA, ADGM, VARA) and ensure compliance solutions remain aligned with local regulations
- Participate in regional compliance forums, panels, and industry events
- Act as a subject matter expert on MENA regulatory developments
- Team Leadership & Operations: Lead and develop a high performing regional compliance team
- Oversee regional operations, resource planning, and budget management
- Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and client centricity
Skills Required
- At least 15 years plus experience in a manager role incorporating the above functions
- Strong Educational Background, preferably
- Strong selling skills to lead business development initiatives
- Proactive and willing to drive things forward
- An ability to work to and meet agreed deadlines
- Flexible in work approach due to nature of the role to meet client deliverables
- Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills
- Ability to multi task and work in a pressurised environment
