About the Role
Apex Group seeks an Account Manager for Transfer Agency in Abu Dhabi, responsible for fund administration, investor onboarding, AML/KYC processing, and reporting. The role requires 5-7 years of experience with at least 3 years in Transfer Agency and 2 years in a team leader/managerial role.

Responsibilities
- Work individually and as part of a team to cover an assigned set of funds as a knowledgeable point of contact for fund investors, fund managers and internal teams
- Possess good understanding of AML/KYC laws and adhere to established policies
- Coordinate with operations and CRM teams to ensure tasks are completed
- Understand Fund structures and ensure accurate pricing to vendors
- Establish good relationship with FA teams and ensure workflow for NAV inclusion
- Responsible for Fund audits in relation to TA PBC requirements
- Communicate with investors and handle situations in line with Apex’s policies
- Read and provide comments on TA aspects in Funds PPM
- Maintain knowledge of assigned funds, timelines, and deal documentation
- Participate in special projects including automation, enhanced controls, system testing and client research

- Overall 5 7 years of experience with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Transfer Agency role
- Minimum of 2 years of experience at team leader/managerial role
- Good understanding and knowledge of AML/KYC laws and guidelines
- Knowledge of all Transfer Agency functions including AML/KYC, investor onboarding, Share Registry Dealings, Payments, FATCA/CRS filings
- Basic understanding of Fund structures and NAV
- Good command of English; Arabic is an added advantage
- Confident in communicating with investors and handling situations

Role Responsibilities
- Working individually and as part of a team to cover an assigned set of funds as a knowledgeable and professional point of contact for fund investors, fund managers and internal teams regarding fund documentation, investor registries and AML/KYC processing.
- Possess good understanding and knowledge of AML/KYC laws and guidelines set out by appropriate MENA Regulators, CIMA and Apex AML Policies.
- Knowledge of Bermuda and BVI AML/KYC laws will be an added advantage.
- Should have knowledge of all the Transfer Agency functions including AML/KYC and investor onboarding, Share Registry Dealings, Metrosoft screening, Payments, FATCA/CRS filings etc.
- Should coordinate with the appropriate operations and CRM teams involved in order to ensure tasks are completed.
- Possess a basic Understanding of Fund structures share classes vs. series and understand the NAV per share.
- Basic understanding of accounting related to subscriptions, redemptions, distributions and ensure investor communications are released in line with procedures.
- Establish a good relationship with FA teams and establish the workflow/procedures to ensure the FA team is updated at all times.
- Responsible for Fund audits in relation to any TA related PBC requirements.
- Have a good command on the English language and possess good written and communication skills. Understanding of Arabic will be an added advantage.
- Confident in communicating with investors and handle any situations that arise in line with Apex’s policies.
- Should be able to read and understand and provide comments on the TA related aspects in a Funds PPM.
Required Experience
- Overall, 5 7 years of experience with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Transfer Agency role.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience at team leader/managerial role (for AVP role).
