Job Purpose
- The Head Coach Épée provides accountability for planning, delivery and evaluation of all sports related tasks for the Épée fencing discipline.
- Major KPI is to build successful long term athlete development with emerging athletes (U14 & U17) and ensure transition to international elite level.
Job Specific Accountabilities
- Develop, implement and oversee annual and multi year performance plans for Saudi elite and emerging elite Épée fencers.
- Lead technical and tactical development of national athletes in Épée (U14, U17, elite levels).
- Lead technical planning for international competitions, training camps and preparation cycles.
- Establish a unified coaching philosophy, training methodology and technical standards.
- Direct and supervise all Assistant Coaches in Épée fencing.
- Coordinate work of Specialist Coaches assigned to high performance athletes.
- Lead preparation for major international events.
- Plan and supervise national team training camps for both genders.
- Provide technical reports following competitions and camps.
- Identify and scout emerging talent across Saudi Arabia.
- Oversee preparation and performance of national team athletes.
- Develop and coordinate individual performance plans for elite and emerging athletes.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in coaching Épée fencing at high performance level.
- Proven ability to develop long term athlete development pathways.
- Experience leading and supervising coaching staff.
- Knowledge of international fencing competition landscape.
