Head Barista role focused on specialty coffee quality, technical extraction, coffee culture, and bar leadership.
The role involves leading the bar, setting quality benchmarks, and training baristas in a growing specialty coffee concept.
Workplace and Employment
- The position is full-time and based in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Work location is in person, with immediate joining required.
Key Responsibilities
- Dial in espresso profiles daily, calibrate grinders, and execute V60, Chemex, AeroPress, and cold drip brewing methods.
- Enforce recipe consistency, extraction standards, milk texturing, and advanced latte art.
- Supervise bar inventory, specialty bean storage, milk rotation, and machine maintenance and sanitation.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate bar staff on sensory evaluation, customer interaction, and speed of service.
Requirements
- 2–3+ years of dedicated specialty coffee experience, including leadership or senior barista duties.
- In-depth understanding of bean origins, processing methods, and water chemistry.
- Exceptional speed, precision, and passion for the craft.
- SCA certification is a strong advantage.
- Candidates should be located in the UAE and available for immediate joining in Al Ain.
Compensation
- Pay starts from AED 3,000 per month.
