Head barista (in charge of 6 cafes in Dubai and Abu Dhabi)

Schedule: 6/1 per week, 8-hour shift

About the company:

International chain of popular healthy restaurants in Dubai, Russia and Europe.

Overall strategic and operational management of all coffee and drinks department of the chain

Team training and management: lead, train, supervise and schedule the barista team;

Bar operations: ensure the taste, producing and presentation of every drink are in align with company’s highest standards; calibrate and controlling the bar equipment daily;

Menu: develop drinks menu, be in charge of new trendy comings;

Inventory: manage stock of coffee and supplies, minimize waste

Standards: uphold all cleanliness, safety, and service protocols;

Operations: monitor coffee department sales, costs and customer satisfaction.

1.

Minimum 4 years as an Area Head barista with a leading chain of coffeeshops (minimum 5-6) in UAE

Be ready for strategic role, not just controlling day to day bar operations;

Train and control the work of a big team of baristas;

Mastery of the entire coffee cycle: from the professional coffee grinding and extraction to beautiful latte art serving;

Proficiency with professional coffee machines;

Knowledge of higher guest services standards;

Knowledge of cleanliness and safety cafe standards;

Developed management skills: scheduling, inventory control, training, and quality control;

English fluency is a must, Russian is a significant plus;

Driving licence.
