- Install HDPE piping systems per project specifications and industry standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols to plan welding layout
- Measure and mark workpieces for proper fit up and alignment prior to welding
- Select appropriate welding equipment, consumables, and techniques based on material and joint design
- Perform cutting, grinding, and cleaning operations to fabricate
Requirements
- Experience in HDPE welding techniques (butt fusion, electrofusion, socket fusion)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
- Proficiency in measuring, marking, and aligning workpieces
- Knowledge of HDPE material properties and industry standards
