Responsibilities
- Carry out a range of carpentry tasks including installations of furniture, repairs, and alterations to building interiors and exteriors, furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, timber, and alternative materials using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Ensure all finished carpentry work meets safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
- Conduct assessments and repairs on existing wooden structures, identifying faults and recommending durable solutions.
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe, serviceable condition and keep designated workspaces clean, organized, and secure.
