Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse staff through rostering, task allocation, performance monitoring, training, and coaching.
• Ensure compliance with aviation security, dangerous goods handling, freight stowage, and other regulations.
• Manage warehouse processes, assets, and equipment while maintaining security, safety, and maintenance standards.
• Ensure goods are received, stored, loaded, and delivered safely, on time, and in good condition.
• Maintain a clean and safe facility and promote a safety-first culture.
• Monitor daily operations, provide backup during absences or peaks, and support other team members.
• Identify issues and implement smarter processes, procedures, and work systems for continuous improvement.

Required and preferred qualifications

• At least two years of proven experience leading and managing teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Willingness to work a four-day roster with one weekend day and three weekday days, for a 37.5-hour equivalent schedule.
• Forklift licence with two years of experience is preferred.
• Ability to forecast workloads and manage a seven-day roster to meet operational requirements and service levels.
