Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of gypsum carpenters and installation teams on-site
- Interpret drawings, layouts, and specifications to ensure accurate gypsum board installation
- Monitor work progress to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Inspect workmanship and ensure high-quality finishing standards are maintained
- Allocate tasks, materials, tools, and manpower efficiently
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site policies
- Conduct site measurements and prepare material requirements
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other subcontractors
- Identify and resolve site-related issues promptly
- Train and guide team members to improve skills and productivity
- Maintain daily reports on progress, workforce, and material usage
- Ensure proper handling and storage of gypsum boards and related materials
- Manage access permits, work permits, and site documentation as required
- Ensure adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and deadlines
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of gypsum board, drywall, partitions, and ceiling systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and site layouts
- Good understanding of site measurements and material estimation
- Knowledge of safety standards and construction best practices
- Good communication skills in English; Hindi/Arabic is an advantage
- Ability to lead teams and coordinate site activities effectively
