We are looking for a skilled **Gypsum Carpenter** to join our interior fit-out team.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in installing and finishing gypsum board partitions, ceilings, wall panels, and decorative elements as per project drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and install gypsum boards, partitions, and ceilings accurately.
- Construct and fix framing systems using metal or wooden studs and channels.
- Carry out jointing, taping, and surface finishing to a high standard.
- Install decorative gypsum works such as cornices, moldings, and bulkheads.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and layouts.
- Ensure all installations are level, aligned, and meet quality standards.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and other trades for smooth workflow.
- Follow safety regulations and maintain tools and materials properly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Gypsum Carpenter or in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of gypsum ceiling and partition systems.
- Ability to understand technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and finishing quality.
- Physically fit and able to work at heights when required.
