- Install gypsum board partitions, ceilings, bulkheads, and wall cladding
- Measure, cut, and fix gypsum boards according to approved drawings and specifications
- Assemble and install metal framing systems for partitions and ceilings
- Perform taping, jointing, and finishing to achieve smooth surfaces ready for painting
- Repair and maintain existing gypsum installations as required
- Read and interpret construction drawings and shop drawings
- Ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and within project timelines
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades on site
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Gypsum Carpenter in interior fit out projects
- Experience with gypsum partitions, false ceilings, and decorative ceiling systems
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Good knowledge of construction tools, materials, and installation techniques
- Physically fit and able to work on construction sites
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Job Summary
- We are looking for a skilled and reliable Gypsum Carpenter to join our interior fit out team.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in gypsum partition systems, false ceilings, bulkheads, and decorative ceiling works.
- The successful candidate should be able to read drawings, work independently, and deliver high quality finishes while meeting project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Install gypsum board partitions, ceilings, bulkheads, and wall cladding.
- Measure, cut, and fix gypsum boards according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Assemble and install metal framing systems for partitions and ceilings.
- Perform taping, jointing, and finishing to achieve smooth surfaces ready for painting.
