About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead group training exercise activities and provide mentorship in safe use of equipment
- Enforce all fitness centre policies and procedures consistently
- Motivate club members in group exercise activities including strength training, stretching, power lifting, weight loss training, nutrition, lifestyle assessment, body building
- Monitor day to day gym activities and ensure smooth function of gym facility in line with Company Safety Procedure
- Record and monitor daily safety checks of gym equipment, report potential hazards
- Keep the gym clean, tidy, sanitize equipment after use, and store loose equipment safely
- Check equipment for wear and tear
Requirements
- Certified fitness instructor
- Fluency in English
- Three (3) years of experience as gym/fitness trainer in international hotel, recreational club, or hospitality industry
- Skills in strength training, power lifting, weight loss training, nutrition, lifestyle assessment, body building
- Course certification in first aid and CPR

Job Overview

Education, Skills and Experience

- Enforce all fitness centre policies and procedure in a consistent manner.

- Monitor day to day all gym activities and ensure smooth function of gym facility in line with Company Safety Procedure and enforce gym rules and regulations.
- Record and monitor daily safety checks of the gym equipment, ensure potential hazards are dealt with and reported to Company Representative.
- Keeping the gym clean, tidy, every equipment sanitized after use and loose equipment stored safely.
- Check the equipment's for wear and tare.
- Performs any other task as and when instructed by the Company representative.
