Function
- As a Guest Service Associate, you are responsible for positive Guest interactions while serving Guests in a friendly and efficient manner and play an integral role in ensuring our customers have exceptional dining experiences.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
- Ability to describe all menu items and daily specials, prices and methods of preparation.
- Take orders and serve guests, noting all special dietary needs and requests.
- Communicate with kitchen staff and keep them informed by noting timing of meal progression.
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner.
- Make accurate guest checks and secure proper payment.
- Conclude dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant; inviting guests to return.
- Ensure station and table set ups are complete and clear and reset tables timely.
- Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of all areas and service equipment.
- Assisting all teammates on the floor to create a team work environment.
- Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience.
- Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude.
Skills
- Excellent oral communication skills required.
- Positive interpersonal skills required.
- Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.
- Pleasant personality and presentable.
- Should be customer focused and flexible.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school education required; higher degree preferable
- Prior 2 year restaurant experience is preferred
