Guest Service Associate

Job Description

• As a Guest Service Associate, you are responsible for positive Guest interactions while serving Guests in a friendly and efficient manner and play an integral role in ensuring our customers have exceptional dining experiences.
• At all times, GSAs are expected to be attentive to our Guests' needs, making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed.
• The right person will be passionate about food and service and thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our customers.
• The ideal candidate will have a friendly, outgoing disposition and pleasant personality.
• Primary Duties & responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
• Ability to describe all menu items and daily specials, prices and methods of preparation
• Take orders and serve guests, noting all special dietary needs and requests
• Communicate with kitchen staff and keep them informed by noting timing of meal progression
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner
• Make accurate guest checks and secure proper payment
• Conclude dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant; inviting guests to return
• Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and clear and reset tables timely
• Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of all areas and service equipment
• Assisting all teammates on the floor to create a team work environment
• Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and
• create a pleasant dining experience
• Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
• Perform all assigned duties as assigned by manager
